My Hometown
I am from Harlan, Kentucky. Harlan is located in southeastern Kentucky and is surrounded by the Appalachian Mountains, similar to most of southeastern Kentucky. As somneone who has lived here my entire life I tend to take for granted the true beauty of my home.
My Education and Career Plans
I am majoring in Information Technology with an emphasis on cybersecurity at the University of the Cumberlands. After graduation, I hope to work in a technology related career that allows me to work with computer hardware rather than software. While I do like learning about coding and web design, I have always learned better using my hands. I really enjoy working on physical components and troubleshooting issues.
My Relationship With the Internet
I use the internet daily working on schoolwork, watching Tiktok, YouTube, and various other forms of online entertainment. Probably my favorite way to use the internet is by playing online videogames with my friends. I couldn't actually say how much time I spend a day on the internet but, I would say it is above average.
